So, after two weeks of having them in their cages side by side and allowing out one bird at a time to investigate the other while they were in their cage, we have had much success.
We finally let them out at the same time and monitored them. They got into a few small scuffles, I'm assuming for dominance, and now a week later they are best buddies; even eating out of each other's bowls.
We are more than happy! I had hoped so badly that they would get along and are doing that nicely.
Eddie is a little bit overbearing sometimes and won't leave Sophia alone, so at that point we separate them to give her some space, but otherwise all is well.
Thank you to all that supported us through this transition.
We are hoping to be able to have a DNA test on Sophia this week to determine her sex; either way she is a very sweet baby.

Aways good to have harmony in the flock. Still, keep an eye out for awhile as their personalities fully emerge, and of course, as puberty/mating season rolls around. Ah, mating season, when lovey, well mannered parrots become jeykl/hyde candidates. 😇/:devilish:
