Forecasted falling iguanas

It's cold here in Florida! Dont know how you northeren folk do it!!!!

South of me they have to watch for falling iguanas, from cold stunning.

I LITERALLY JUST WATCHED THIS ON THE WEATHER CHANNEL lol! I was wondering if they were injured by the height of the fall! / lol

Extra clothing or winter styled clothing.

The animals in the Great White North either hibernate or have fur that thickens /added layer and our Birds have additional thickness of down feathers.

Iguanas are cold blooded and as a result depend on their environment (Warm air and Sunshine) to provide them warmth. I have no idea what can be done for them when temperatures drop like this, short picking them out of the trees /off the ground and taking them to warming stations.

The article would not open much beyond a request to buy the paper.

Your falling iguanas have just made the news here in Australia. They’re trying to tell us they’re not dead, just dormant, but they looked pretty deceased to me

They showed them coming back to life as they warm up.. they are most of them are ok. Unless high in a tree when they fall....
I like them , but it's hard, they are a non native...

Yeah the lizards are great, we get quite a few bearded dragons and blue tongues in our yard all year round, they’re very sweet and loveable. The brown snakes on the other hand - YIKES!!
