Funny pionus stories

This is a place to write about some of the funny things our birds do. You know those silly or ingenious things our birds do that make us laugh or smile that the non-bird lovers in our lives don’t seem to understand why we find it so amusing.

Here are some examples

There will be a place to write about these moments at the top of each of the breed forums. So get those stories rolling…. Oh yeah, stories that have pictures always gets a couple extra brownie points.

This isnt really a story (I thought this post needs some stuff), but I noticed my Pi walks like a hunchback hahaha. When I put her down on the grass and walk away, she starts walking, then realizes she is getting farther away and starts to gallop like a hunchback! And when she gallops, she swishes her tail from side to side, like she is shaking her booty. She is a silly girl.

ahahah thats cute!!! My bird loves Ritz... I try to give them to her in moderation, but she just cant get enough of em. I love watching her take the whole cracker in her little foot. What she actually gets all puffed up for and chirpy is when I start whistling and singing, she is so silly!!! She doesnt dance, I think she just likes it.

i know this topic is from a long time ago but my little guy goes crazy for cheez itz to haha and when he scares someone he'll do this evil little laugh that i adore lol he also likes to practice his vocalization when he thinks im sleeping. have any of your guys ever lost a feather then scratched their head with it? marty does this when he thinks im not looking! xD

I see the dates on here and see that it is an old posting. Not sure anyone will see read this. I think cheese is universally loved by Pi's. My Greens goes nuts for mac n cheese. If I have it on my plate he feels free to help himself. I don't get much of it. He's so bad he'll snatch it off of my fork!

Raven loves to use different voices. He knows it makes me laugh. The funniest one is when he says "hiiii" all different ways. Unfortunately, once I had laryngitis for long enough that he learned the low gravelly "hiiii". It's absolutely hilarious to hear a cheery 'hi' immediately followed by the long drawn out laryngitis 'hiiiiii' LOL.

My WCP loves loves loves to strut and I've seen a few other that do too. He does it for everything and it always cracks me up! I have a video if you want to see him in action lol
