GCC - Becky
Hi everyone,

My GCC was hurt by my cat a couple of months back and had fully recovered. The vet had to pull some feathers off its chest to clean the wound and that made my bird regrow a lot of its feathers.

Now that all her feathers are grown, she is not cleaning them as shown in the pictures. I clean the ones on her head regularly and she loves it but she doesn't clean any of her tail feathers anymore.
Also, I found a weird-looking pluck of feathers just above the tail that she doesn't seem to mind me touching but looks out of place. (See picture)

I'm worried that she might feel stressed or something else.

Thanks for any feedback and I can add more pictures as needed.

Be VERY careful with letting your bird and cat in proximity to each other in the future. Pasteurella bacteria is usually lethal to birds. Even a scratch can kill them in 24-48 hours without antibiotics... You may already know this, but I thought it was worth posting for anyone reading the thread that may not be aware...
