So, turns out I have the OPPOSITE problem of a one person bird.
Kind of.
When a new person is around, my conure becomes OBSESSED with them. Which sounds all fine and good until they start agressively guarding them. When they're like that, the only person they will let near the new person is me, who can still easily make them step up and very very rarely gets bitten.
I for the life of me can't find anyone else with this issue and I'm beyond confused.
She has no interest in sitting on me, playing with toys, doing much of anything when new people are around. She just snuggles into them and then gets aggressive towards other people (bar me) and occasionally decides to just straight up bite the chosen person. It's baffling me.
Shunning isn't working, shes sleeping fine, good diet, hormonal behaviour is discouraged, I'm at a loss.
