Getting a green cheek conure!

I’m thinking of getting a green cheek conure. I already am looking at cages and might have a used 52” tall wrought iron cage I’m getting. Anyway, I heard that you should have a sleeping cage too. Is that a good idea?

SLeeping cage is not a requirement, it depends more on where the main cage is and how loud and late the noise in that room is. If he will be in the living room and the TV is on until the wee hours, then you might want him in a sleeping cage in a more quiet room in the house. Parrots need 10-12 hrs a night of quiet, dark sleep.
