Goffin cockatoo red bump on neck!

Hi im new here but my goffins has a reddish bump on her neck right above the crop and i was wondering if anyone with a goffins could post a pic of what it should look like?

Hi Ashley, and welcome to the forum.

Can YOU post a photo of the red bump on your Goffin? When did you first notice it? Did it appear overnight?

It's hard to even venture a guess as to what it might be without photos.

Could your bird have possibly gotten a bite (mosquito for example)?

I'm not a cockatoo person (I only have lovebirds!) but I hope a G2 person will pitch in to help.
