- I have 1 lovebird, but plan to get many many more in the future when I have more time(:
So I thought I would introduce my other lights of my life... Guinea pigs!
This is Crush! He's about 4 years old now and is the alpha male of the herd ( Isn't that cute!? They call 3+ guinea pig groups herds! ) He is very dominant and sometimes a bit nippy, but is very trained. He will "spin" in a circle on command, and will stand up on his hind legs like he's begging too on command! He is more of an alarm clock than my bird.. He will wake me up and then Nash too.. Whenever he hears me stir in the morning he will "wheek" and scream until I give him his breakfast.. It can be cute, but it's usually kinda annoying to be honest haha. He is very smart!
( I actually couldn't find any pictures of Nigel or Squirt so I had to quickly take some more so ignore how bad these are XD )
This is my youngest, Nigel, and I've had him for 3 years.. He's the youngster! He's a special needs piggie as well. He came from a terrible place and was inbred and not taken care of properly foor the first year or so of his life and now has permanent problems.. He can't trust humans at all.. My other piggies are tame enough to go and pick up willingly but he won't even let me pet him in the cage. He needs a 'step' to get up to the water bottle because I believe his neck was broken as a baby and was grown back together horribly so he can't lift it up very much. He is still an amazing pet and I am glad to just have him as a 'look at' kind of guinea pig. He doesn't know any tricks because of his needs and how he doesn't trust humans, but he has kinda picked up 'spin' from Crush haha
This last guy is Squirt! He is a soft furred guinea pig and has fur softer than a babies bottom haha! He is very sweet and will lay down while I pet him! He loves fruits and looks like he has blood on him whenever he eats anything red.. lol He is the brother to Crush and I have also had him 4 years. He will 'step up' on command ( quite like a bird ) and will just climb onto my hand whenever I say "step up" and let me pick him up easily. He is very very sweet!
