What would you say is one of the more "hardier" types of parrots. Parrots that can undergo worse weather, get sick less etc.????? I heard quaker parrots are really hardy. I'm really just curious on this one lol.
Quakers are known for being pluckers
( not sure how you would feel about that )
I'm biased yes but in doing research the alexandrine is an extremly hardy bird
not easily stressed , not known as screamers or pluckers
can handle cold climates as well as hotter ones
the only known complication that this breed suffers from is an enlarged liver( don't hold me to that I'll try find that page again I think it's liver but it may have Been kidney ) but that's only 1 in every 100 or Less
