well I got my 4yr old GCC today named Ringo we left at 7:30am to make the 5hr journey to get him his previous owner passed away so he was in foster care im already in love. He came with his cage and toys so I need opinions on his set up does he need more less what I could add, tips on getting him adjusted all my experience is with Caiques, Quakers and Suns, Cockatiels and Budgies. He is also used to have other birds in the room by his cage so should I consider a buddy for him. he is moving around happy acting it seems. he is also on Kaytee Rainbow mixed with Roudybush crumbles but what do you guys recommend feeding him. any info on any of these is appreciate! He is my 1st GCC and first parrot I've owned in about 3yrs since moving for school but now im back and fully devoted to my Fid

Congratulations for letting Ringo adopt you. Nice cage, but I would add perches of various sizes and textures to keep his feet healthy and help him navigate his cage easily.

You know, of course, that you need to post close ups of Ringo so we have our opportunity to ooh and aah. :)

Congrats on getting Ringo & the suggestions for more toys & perches are right, though I might wait to see if & what of what he's already got, that he plays with, that way might say some $$$.....I figured out that several versions of what mine liked was $$$ better spent than taking chances on things they ended up not paying attention to.....
