Hello from me and my lovebird, Salvador

[The Green Demon]

We are new to the forum, and looking through, I wish I had found you before. Salvador is nearly five years old. I have had her from when she was very young, and we bonded pretty quickly. We are very rarely one without the other. She is the love of my life. I grew up with pets, including birds, but never really understood the true demands of being a responsible bird owner. I often describe her as a toddler with wings. My little green demon. She is affectionate, funny, cheeky, and utterly challenging at times, but I wouldn't change it for anything in the world. I did think 'she' was a he until she laid a clutch of eggs year before last, hence the name. We are happy to be here and look forward to sharing all the fun and challenges that we bird owners experience. And yes, that is a part of a tomato vine sticking out from under her wing. They are her favourite things to chew.
