Hi Fellow Forum Members.

I am a new member and also just got a pair of baby indian parrot. I have no experience in bring up a parrot so far. I hope that my fellow members can provide their input on grooming a baby parrot which is a new addition to our family.

I am feeding the baby parrot with a human baby food. The issue is it pooh and pee a lot! is that quiet common?

Is the baby fully weaned? If so some variety in his diet might help. If not can you take him back and let them wean him for you.

Hello and welcome to the forums!

I completely agree with gracebowen's advice. If you have no experience with hand feeding the baby parrots, you may save yourself a lot of heartache by taking them back to the breeder until they are fully weaned by someone with experience.

We aren't trying to discourage you or make you feel bad but we do want you to understand the responsibility you've undertaken. If you can't return the birds, please read the wonderful articles in the following links.

I hope the information is helpful and answers some of your questions. I wish you the best, please let us know what you decide.
