Hi & welcome. So, can you explain a little further-- was this Quaker that appeared at your house an escaped, tame bird?

As for his change in demeanor, the first thing I'd assume is that he's jealous. Could you give us a sense of how much time has gone by at the various stages in your story-- that would also help people to assist you.
