Hi, I am new here. I just got an african grey 2 days ago, his name is Magoo. He seems sweet, but since he is new in the house, he hasn't opened up yet. Hopefully he learns to trust and like us I had an amazon in the past, so I am ok with the basic care of them.We have some work to do though because his previous owner admitted to not working with him much, she was afraid of him.
I can't wait! So I will let him get used to our house for a while first then work with him as his Grey attitude will let us LOL

Welcome to you and beautiful Magoo!! Greys are as sensitive as they are intelligent. They can be more hesitant to bond than other parrots, so take it slow. Magoo is probably extremely observant and taking a LOT in as he adjusts.
