Help I think my conure doesn't like me anymore

I'm fairly new to birds. In June 2024 i got a 5 month old boy sun conure and he bonded pretty quickly. My fiancé wanted one so we went and got a 4 month old girl piinaple green cheek. I obviously don't know much and should have researched more amd readnsomeehere that bird willnchoose the other bird first. Inkept them separate cages but same room and now they are good with each other but now my boy Kitu doesn't want to come to me anymore. I'm worried I lost our connection.
Did I do something wrong? Should I have not gotten another one right now? Ultimately I am really the one who tends to both and spend more tine with both. Thank you

Always a risk, adding a new parrot to the flock. You can try wheedling your way back into the mix with treats and interaction, but you'll need to work HARD at it.
