I have 4 budgies in the same cage and they bicker once in a while, do yours fight lots? It's normal for birds to fight a bit like over a perching spot, food, toys etc, but not constantly.

Yes, they fight all the time. they have a large cage, so i don't know why.. They seem to want EXACTLY what the other one wants at the EXACT same time.. then fights break out.

They simply may not be compatible, male budgies, at least mine, seem to get along better with other males than females as females can be bullies or territorial.
Do you have multiple feeding stations? and more than one water bowl? That may help with the fighting.
How long have they been living together? Sorry for all the questions lol!

I have multiple feeding and watering stations. They have been living together for almost a year. they did fine till recently, and nothing has changed.
Has the female recently matured? Her cere turned dark for the first time maybe?

My budgies do the same thing sometimes and it's never been a problem even though it looks strange 4. My guess is that she has something "stuck" in get throat like a tiny piece of food, a millet hull, or a tiny down feather. I'd offer her a drink of fresh water. As long as she eats, drinks, and poops normally, her "plumbing" is working properly and I wouldn't worry.

I have no clue as to how old the female is, she was at egg laying age when i caught her in my back yard. The male just matured though
