Hi, my name is Ty. I have 10 small to medium birds ,mostly rescue. One of my male rescue Alaxandrines died this week leaving his partner without a friend. So I'm looking for a male alexandrine for her. I'm a safe house for Birdline but they currently do not have any single male Alex's available. With so many parrots looking to be rehomed each year I wouldn't get one from a breeder. Does anyone know of a male Alex companion bird looking for a new home?

Ty, I apologize on behalf of myself and the forum. I promise it was not intentional, we're a friendly group. It may be that no one who saw your post was able to answer your question, either because they aren't in your area or don't know of a male Alex that is looking for a new home.

Anew...so you do love me after all : ) thanks guys. I joined the forum a couple of years back and I remember what a friendly place it was (unlike many other social media sites) it was very helpful with my first two birds. I since got into rescue, that consumed nearly all my time. I've taken one step back from that to give me more time to spend with my rescue birds and help others on the forum.
