One of the best conures out there in my opinion... in terms of personality.

Clever. Funny. Mischievous. Curious. Observant of what you are doing. Seem to want to be involved. Can be snuggly. And a lot of fun.

Although my 30 year old female Tootsie can be hard on the ears because her volume knob broke stuck on 11 a few years ago they generally don't seem to make an obnoxious amount of noise most of the time. When she goes off, the much younger male Rosco copies with a lot of "Me too! Me too! (what are we squawking about?) Me too! Me too!". I think he would be a lot quieter as a solo bird.

The only time that Rosco initiates a lot of noise is when he is playing tattletale on my senegal Sidney when he is doing something naughty. Rosco watches out for him and starts sounding a trumpeting call to get my attention. He is my 'watch bird' and pretty darn effective at it.

I would certainly recommend a blue crown as a good bird for adoption.
