how to find age of ringnecks?

hi parrot loves, I'm having a 2months old Indian ring-neck ,i want to buy a pair for it so i want know its gender first , how to find the gender of Indian ring-neck at the age of 2months, please someone help me

Hi there. Ring Neck parrot sexes can be determined after they reach adulthood and their adult feathering, with the male having a distinct ring at the neck, and females with none or a light shadowy ring. At 2 months old, the only way to determine the sex of the chick is by a DNA test, either by a feather or a blood sample. That test is not expensive here in the US, not sure where you are located. You send the sample to them by mail.
