How to make cuttlefish bones safe for parrots?

Hi there!, I live by the beach and recently found on a midnight walk, 4 HUGE cuttlefish bones, as you can imagine I was pretty excited that I didn’t have to pay an arm and a leg for them and just found it sitting on the sand . So the big question is, how do I make them safe for birdy consumption? I imagine boiling it has some sort of role but I’m not too sure, any ideas?

Boiling, then baking them usually does the trick. Not sure for how long to boil/bake them though . Sorry I couldn't be of more help!

Keep in mind at some beaches/areas it is illegal to take something from nature.

I think thoroughly rinsing and then boiling and/or baking should be fine, as stated above.
