Welcome to the forum, what's wrong with your birds' feather coloration?

Nothing wrong with any of their coloration, not really sure what you're referring to. That's a welcome?

Welcome to the forum! Love your fids.

Hello fellow Texan....welcome to the forum.
Beautiful birds.

Well your amazon is supposed to be green not black.
I'm not trying to be rude but feather discoloration points towards a nutritional deficientcy.

Howdy fellow Texan, welcome to the forum.....beautiful Babies : )

Welcome fellow Texan, glad to see another macaw owner on the forum. Or I should say owned by macaws.

That's just the lighting in the pic, they are anything but black, one turned 1 yr old last month, the other will be next month.

Not a problem Cdog, the breeder I get my birds from is an old neighbor of mine, she is certified in so many things Avian I can't name them all. She has taught me tons about bird care, nutrition, etc. I got both the Zons & GWs at only 2-3 months old and finished weaning them out myself. (Well, the wife weaned the Zons out, they "tolerate" me) Besides, that woman would kick my butt iffin I didn't take good care of them!

Henpecked, all but the Hahn's are right at 1 year old, the Hahn's is almost 3. Actually, they ain't that loud considering I know how loud they can get. The loudest the Zons ever get is when I bring them into my office, otherwise they're pretty dang quiet, the GW's only get loud when they want something really. Now that Hahn's.........man that little bird can make some noise the minute I start cooking ANYTHING in the kitchen. :11:

His Discoloration was because he was dirty... babies do have a tendency to get dirty when they play.
