Have you looked into Citron? His feather looks like he could use a bath to clean up so you can really tell.

that is a hybrid (citrons have distinctively colored cheeks) Occasionally I do trip accross a "mutt cockatoo" that some lazy bum who was too cheap to purchase a bird of the same type decided to produce with dreams of making money fast....
A couple of options....
There are a couple clues... although I would have to see it clean and in person to be sure (espcially hard to judge size)
The bird does have the faded patches over the ear openings... which you only find in Citrons and sulfur crested cockatoos... So that makes up one part of the bird.
The beak and nare design is almost identical to a mollucan (however if you crossed a mollucan with sulfur crested too you would have much more color and not quite so much yellow) So the only other bird that throws that crest design is a goffin... or possibly an umbrella....
My best guess would be a sulfur crest crossed with a goffin... not unheard of (although I wish they were... I hate cheap people that mutt things just to make a buck)....
Keep in mind that size in parrots really doesn't tell you much. I've seen poorly weaned umbrellas no bigger than a goffin, and you have to figure whoever pitiful creature really didn't have the birds in mind, and likely didn't feed properly.
It is not a citron though... Citrons have the thin recumbant crest that point forward like the sulfer crests, and it is not a mollucan.

Unless someone hacked her crest off at the end she is not anything in the sulfur or citron family.... besides if you ever see a citron (a pure one) in real life you can't mistake dthat orange (not even dirty... lol)
But, i guess it doesn't matter... just my opinion, think what you will.

One last thing, the sulfer crested 'toos (which yes technically includes the citron) are often confused with eachother and mistaken for other things... it's amost impossible at times to find a mate... I google "citron cockatoo" looking for a free photo to post, and I noticed that out of about 20 photos only 2 were actually purebred citrons.... the others looked like they had at least a little sulfur in them somewhere in their recent past. In person a citron is BRIGHT orange.... unmistakeable. not yellow on their face at all... just orange. they make wonderful pets and are great little birds.... the orange is the same orange you see on a major mitchel (or leadbeaters) cockatoo. Identical.

My sulphur chews on her crown so its hacked off flat without the curve. If you look at the first pic it looks like the crown is just starting to fill in.

There's a moluccan/umbrella cross on kijiji right now that they are calling a mobrella, as if it wasn't bad enough mixing dog names, they are now doing it with birds as well...

And it's a bird they found in an abandoned home yet they want $800 for it. I didn't even realize 'toos would interbreed like this until recently, I knew they could but I was always told that pairing 'toos isn't usually easy so I figure different types of 'toos would be even harder to pair up to breed.

Ever read the article about the cockatiel and rosebreasted cockatoo that produce live offspring? Mobrellas are not as uncommon as I'd like.
It's like macaw hybrids but worse.... doesn't even produce pretty colors. I know a lazy crappy breeder right now who's got a citron with an elenora....

Hybridised cockatoos are found in the wild here, sometimes corellas with galahs. But they aren't common.
Hate people who do that on purpose. Accidents happen, but seriously....

If that's a citron than I have no idea what we had. Because we had a citron and it didn't look like that and was not the size of a goffin. His cage was actually right next to our goffin's and he was about 1.5 times the size of her with a bright orange plume that curled outwards.

OmG !!! People are actually cross breeding parrots ? One can only wonder what this will do to future flocks of babies that come from cross bred parrots . Lord give me strength indeed . Can anyone say pocket book breeders ? cause is it not enough that we have cross bred dogs and cats dying in shelters everyday and now the bird world might be next makes me sick . Lord give me strength indeed .

Oh please re think this ^ . You dont really know what kind of genetic defects you could create . Im sorry but I just really dont think we need a world of cross bred parrots .

That is definitely NOT a Citron Cockatoo. I, as well, own one and the difference is unmistakeable. A true Citron Cockatoo has VERY orange ear patches and a very bright orange crest. If you look at this cockatoo you will notice it goes from orange to peachy even to a yellowish. The feathers aren't even shaped right. Such a shame really.

I am very new so after reading and asking around it seems like it's be a while before a think about getting another bird because we don't want to loss our family pet to another cockatoo.
I am not a breeder I just want to make our JOEY happy.
But If it happens in the wild why not?
