I can't afford a vet atm can I help my cockatiel some other way? Woke up to him being puffed up and a long string of poop hanging from his vent.

Cockatiel
So I got these two cockatiels 6-7 days back. the male had done some really wet and heavy dumps on the first day and then soon over the days it got normal-ish. When i first got him he was puffed up in the sick sort of way all the time too but he got increasingly energetic and last afternoon he did the whole heart wings while singing and walking thing in his cage. he is a very interactive bird, likes to have people around and always sings along when my family is talking.

But today morning I lifted the cover of his cage and found the other bird all alert and awake but him still all puffed up which was strange. I noticed him for a while, he was sort of shivering? And then i noticed that a wet, not very wet like I first bought him, long string of poo was hanging from his otherwise clean vent.

I waited it out thinking it'd fall off (apparently cockatiels take a huge dump as soon as they wake up?) but instead it just got stuck to his feathers.

Do you think he is sick? Or is still in the adjusting phase? He did eat lots of seeds (various types) yesterday. Should I change his diet? or help him by cleaning his vent? Both the birds only eat seeds though I am trying to get their diet changed they haven't yet touched anything except seeds.

I was thinking of giving them sprouted seeds. But now he's sick so I don't know if that'd be a good idea or bad. :(

Is there any 'home remedy' for helping my birdie out?
