I joined today!

I have recently purchased a pair of Rosey Bourkes. I adore them. But they do not trust me yet as they were parent-raised and not hand-raised. I am attaching a photo of them and one of me and my dogs. I could use all the help I can get. I had a Quaker parrot years ago who flew all over my house in Asheville, ate from my hand, and loved to splash in his bath.

I lived in Asheville 12 years with my 3 dogs, 2 cats, and Quaker. I now live in Vancouver WA, a part of the Portland, OR area with my 2 dogs, 1 cat, and my birds.

Oh, I LOVE those dogs!!! The Bourkes are cute too - never owner that type but I've heard that they are rather quite compared to Budgies.
