I need your guys opinion please??

I've always wanted a sun or nanday conure but today i found a craigslist add for a jenday with food, cage, and toys for 300. I just emailed them and currently asking questions about the bird(which is gorgeous by the way). I'm planning a visit probably this weekend since im off.

ok so i guess my question is do you think i'd be satisfied with a jenday? i've fallen in love with everything about the sun and nandays and i've read all over that jendays are basically sun conure's with green wings? i know the obvious differences but is there and detailed differences that i should know of? I think i read somewhere that jendays can be more clingy then suns? i wouldn't mind a bird that wants to be with me every second im home O and it says he's going to be a year old on dec. 6th.

O!! and i forgot to mention that my local petsmart had a jenday a while back that i used to visit all the time because i really liked him/her and i asked where she got him from and sure enough she's the one who bought him!! so i guess i answered my own question lol!! hopefully everything works out! wish me luck!!

I really liked a Jenday at my local Peto...I would have got him but the noise factor was an issue for me as I live in an apartment building.
I am just amazed the bird is for sale so soon after the owner buying it...did you ask why it was being sold?

no not yet and ya i was gonna ask right now but i figured i could wait til i visit this weekend everything seems promising so far though we'll see when i go over. i have lots of questions for her in person. she emailed me a pic though and she looks pretty healthy sooo idk! haha

If the other 2 species you were looking at were right for you then so should a Jenday be. Also curious why she is selling after just getting him/her. Almost certainly not the birds fault though and will probably make a fantastic pet for the right owner.

ya i dont know why yet but ill probably be willing to take her either way lol ill keep you guys posted!
