ID band info

Hello, I recently purchased a White-wing parakeet. I am curious to find out some more info about him.

The band is a closed band, orange.
The letters/numbers are CP 2 6598

40 years ago (Oh, GAWD I'm old!) in New Mexico, I tediously traced the Rb's band by bugging local and remote bird clubs, bird fairs, bird stores, and finally did find the ol' Rb's breeder. Good luck.
