I'm a real pirate because I have a real parrot!

Happy Halloween!

So I decided to be a pirate for Halloween.
Everybody thought I had a plastic parrot and were surprised when he moved and talked.
He was the star of the party

My bosses decided that he can be our corporate pet and from now, I can bring him to work with me.

I'll have to get some floor protector and portable vacuum cleaner xD

So cute!! He is an amazon so he is kind of in the 'right' section even if it is Halloween. Did he like going with you??? I brought my bird to work one day and he liked it a lot. He was tired at the end of the day from the different people and activities but he had fun.

The parrot and bottle of rum are great, the sword is unfortunately more like a machete, not a naval pattern item. For next year's event, I've attached a pic of a real naval sword A long blue coat over the striped T-shirt would complete the disguise. (sorry to be so "picky" I'm both ex-Navy and a childhood fan of Hornblower and other naval fiction)

Exactly what happened to me! Exactly what I said (my costume sucked) xD I took my sisters IRN (kiwi was sick) and EVERYONE thought he was fake at first. Hilarious, since one person was all sarcastic & like 'oh YAAA its a reeeeaaall bird' (since one person was freaking out since it was real) then flipped out when it moved.

He's so pretty! Love him

I've got that 'sword' at the dollar store, at the price it was, I think I can survive one day with a fake pirate sword

Tihan loves coming to work. He started talking like crazy!
He specially likes my collegue Alex. He likes him much more than he likes me.
When Alex says something, Tihan immediatly replies! It's so strange, since Tihan hates man.
And he lets Alex pet him!!!
I wounder if TIhan would be better with Alex... It's a sad though, kinda like 'if you love it, let it go'

I wounder if anybody else experienced this kind of situation, when you see your parrot wants to be with someone else.

So I drived my collegue Alex home as usual. Tihan went to his shoulder, cuddled and gave him kisses.
When we arrived to his home and it was time for Alex to go, Tihan didn't want to step up! He holded Alexes shoulder with feet and beak!
Of course, Alex was able to leave, but Tihan started making very sad and hearthbreaking noises.

He stopped after 5 minutes, but didn't talk as usually he does in the car.
We went home and my mom tried to socialise with him (he likes her) and she got bitten!

Today Tihan met the love oh his life and it's mutual. (I'm actially jealous it's not me)
Alex sayed "See ya monday! Bring the parrot!"

Well, actially not, Tihan wants to sit on my co-worker shoulder, so it's more spending time with Alex than with me.

I sometimes get that to when I bring Captain Jack in public. Someone would say "that is not a real bird," another would say "that is a real bird" or someone would ask "is that a real bird?" Makes me wonder if they can be still for a good amount of time.
