Today Bucc is in disgrace, he has been going after Kito and at first it was more a case of trying to scare him into moving (off everything and anything, me included) but Kito stayed his ground and gave him such a loud scream  (ear drums gone, mine) after that all Bucc wanted to do was do serious harm to him. (I mean how dare he stand his ground) When I put him on his Java Tree for a time out, he would get off, I put him back and off he'd get again, So now he is having a time out in his cage, which he is not happy about.

Usually I would let them sort it out themselfs, but today Bucc has bitten Andi very hard on the nose and lip (thankfully I saw it coming seconds before it happened and was able to get Andi to move his eyes out of the way) He has got my fingers, the dogs tail and foot. So he's in a real grump. Everytime we walk past the cage he's lunging at us and growling because we are ignoring him and he really hates to be ignored. I'll let him back out before the kids come home from school and see if that has improved his temper (I'll be keeping my fingers well and truly out of his way, just in case.)

He is now sitting in his cage asking Kito "Wanna play, Bucc loves ya, Bucc loves mum" :D So that I don't talk to him I am keeping myself really busy and out of his way. :D

Wow, sounds like a normal day over here with the grumpiness!! Sorry that he's being like that, I hope he finishes the rest of the day in a better mood!

Sounds like a "sibling rivalry/jealousy" issue ... after a 'time-out' Bucc should get his act back in line, especially if he sees Kito getting all the attention because he is behaving!

Oh he'll have to Buck his ideas up a bit more, He's got the grump because Kito wouldn't back away from him, and we all have to suffer for that. I'll go spend some more time with him (while he's still in the cage) in a mo, just to see how he's gonna react. He'll be fine tomorrow and you won't even know that he had tantrums :D He's a little so and so, its a good job that we love the old grump. :D

Yeah, peace reigns again............................ for a while. Today they are best buddies, and getting up to all sorts of mischeif its hard to keep up with the little devils. :D

I mean really, how is having to birds (like Bucc and Kito) any different than having two children. They fight, they make up, they are best friends again ... and, the whole thing will happen all over again within 3 days ... :p

Yep thats about right, But like the kids its great when all is peaceful :D The only thing Bucc has got to get used to is sharing everything except HIS cage, he doesn't even have to worry about HIS java tree as Kito will not go on it. So we now have the little play top that can go on his cage as Kito's and thats where the poop training is going on. :D

i dont siblings are EVER best freinds with each other. or atleast i never was. My sister used to threaten that she'd let my budgie outside if i didn't let her watch TV or something. and brother.. well he was just weird...

:D :D Well thats what my two say about each other. But when one of them is in trouble of some sort the other is there right away. Yeah brothers and sisters are always gonna say some nasty things to each other, but I'm sure that you'd all come together if needed.

My parents always used to tell my sister and I that when we get older we'll get along and be best friends. Hasn't happened yet, don't know if it will. We are just two COMPLETELY different people. People that know us are honestly amazed at how we can be so different. Especially since we have the same genes and came from the same household, experienced the same things, etc.
I feel bad that my mom still gets calls at work from her 20-something year old daughters when they're fighting (Just for the record...I'm never the one that calls :) )

But back to the topic- That's great that Kito & Bucc are finally getting along. No matter how shortlived it may be. Enjoy it!

Me and my older bother were the same as that, always fighting and arguing, he usually won  so I became very sneaky :D but luckily (for me) and well out of our 20's we are very close now, so guess there's hope yet. We were as different as chalk and cheese. A friend of mine really does not get on with her Sister, never has and probably never will. :( Its a shame but guess thats how it is sometimes.

Poor Bucc:(
He really is feeling it with the competition eh. Give him a peanut from me and tell him I like him more than Kito;)
