Hi there

I am looking at moving from Australia to South America with my family to retire.

I have my sun conure that we wish to take with us.

My question is has anyone done this? And what was the process?

Hi there,

I’ve only moved in the same state with my parrots. Yes it stressed them out. My parrots don’t do well with change. They are routine.

My sun conure in specific hyperventilates in the car on the way to vet appointments. I honestly am concerned about him surviving vet appointments just from stress alone. I recently lost my jenday conure but she was much better in the car. I think this may vary upon the parrot themselves.

Are you looking for if they are legal where you are moving?

Hi Thankyou for responding to my message. It’s just finding an actual airline that can take my bird as Australia is pretty far away from the rest of the world
