Up here in the Northern Hemisphere we have had weather that has been cooler than prior years. Many Parrot have experienced a much extended Hormonal Season!

I done writ a poem for the Princess.

**Wings of the Princess**

The chains they were heavy, but now she'll alight,
Painting a dull sky with colors so bright.
Clouds as her canvas, she needs no escape,
Among friends and family, it's her grand landscape.

So here’s to the dreamers, the lovers of light,
To those who rise up in the dead of the night.
The world spins in mystery, time, depth, and space,
The princess is flying, oh, what a grace!

Let her soar, wander, so wild and free,
Shedding her past like a leaf from a tree.
She may live indoors, but her heart's in the sky!
You can come with her... spread your wings... fly!

Princess Peachie would probably like a little more privacy whilst she preens those pretty feathers. Sorry girlie, you won't get that in this house!!

Does Princess Peach perch on your hands at all? Is she finger tame? Does Lovejoy? All the pictures I recall seeing of the adorable couple are around their cage/playground environment.

That's cos that's where I get all their cutest pics!

Lovejoy is VERY hand tame, but Peachie, like many of her species, is not so much, they generally prefer to sit close by or on heads or shoulders. But she ALWAYS steps up on my hand and gives me a kiss when she thinks there's a treat of bird seed in the offing

That's great. I looked through her thread and saw a lot of shots of her head sitting so she's obviously very comfortable with her humans.
They have such a nice cage/play set up and are very photogenic. They're lucky birds to live a such a great life. My budgies live pretty gifted lives, too. They're more like housemates that fly around the house, makes huge messes and don't clean up, don't pay rent, and get waited on by their landlords than they are "pet birds". But it's so nice to walk into the living area after being away for a few hours and have a bunch of budgies fly over and land on us, wanting nothing other than to welcome us home.
