Hi, i’m new here, so hopefully i’m doing this right.
Today i’m cleaning my quaker parrot’s cage after two weeks (usually i clean it every week, but i since it takes me a lot of time, I couldn’t find a moment to clean it last week...) and i found A LOT of feathers. I’m a bit worried because i’m not an expert and they seem a bit too many. I’ll post a picture just to give an idea. Those are fethers that have fallen in his cage (he stays inside the cage only in the morning, and then i keep him outside in the afternoon until evening).
This is my first spring with a parrot, so i don’t know if feather loss is normal in spring, but just to make sure i wanted to ask someone that is more experienced with quakers and/or parrots in general.
Do you think he’s plucking?? Please let me know.
Thanks in advance ^^
