HAPPY NEW YEAR Everyone!

January is the month when we all start a New Year,

full of hope and promise, but also renewing of old friendships and
loves. This month we want to see pictures and videos of your flock as

we start this glorious year, showing them off in their Sunday best!

Salty, looking very pleased with himself!

Wow, keep 'em coming folks!

Just for fun: Corona, aka Big Fluffy, has Blow!

The show breeders call budgie's fluffy head feathers "blow". I got Corona from a show breeder. I like to think of it as rescued from life in a cage as a breeder. View attachment 83606
That’s a magnificent hairdo!

Donna, thats a winner if I ever saw one! Sure its JFF?

That’s a magnificent hairdo!
A friend of mine who has dogs asked me if I have to put any "product" on his head feathers to get them to look like that. Seriously!
His pal Tiki, who's about half his size, is his hairdresser. Tiki has been crazy about Big Fluffy since he was three months old and grooms him on demand.

Yes. an essential part of grooming is the volumizing shampoo and conditioner, which a good groomer will add to a deluxe spa pedicure and massage. Special bird sized hair dryers and curling irons are all the rage. Juliette insisted on having her feathers in curlers over night, because a handsome rooster might stop by and she's overly worried about her pinfeathers. Ahh the insecurities of the young!

These are two of my new babies these two are siblings..... The one Sunshine is upside down and backwards I will add....the other Denali is I'm sure like (why?)?

EDIT: he/she can stand straight she just does this......

Nice toy! I have one of them, too. Sunshine looks like part of the toy!
It looks like Denali is a girl. Did you end up with two little girls? A boy would have a blue cere by now.

Just for fun: Elan, in her big, bright yellow, red-eyed Borb-ness, thinks she's the star of the car- the quintessential blonde, dressed to attract as much attention from the boys as possible. They say some are built for comfort some are built for speed. . .
