My last steamer finally died on me a couple of weeks ago after 5 years of service. So I hope to get at least that much out of the new one.

Hey mike that is awesome wow mccullough huh ? is that the same people who make the chain saws ? where did you get that one ? I would like to get one , I had a scunci and that thing was a piece of crap , never worked right at all .

I thought you were going to post a pic of a neighbor kid trying to make a couple bucks.

We have a big power washer and we take our cages out side and spray them all down.

Yep, the same folks who make the chain saws. I guess their branching out. I found this one on Walmart.com for $39.97 + $.97 cents shipping. I tried it out this morning an it works a bit better than the old off name brand one that I had.

Huh, with all the unions, you can't find cheap labor anymore hahahahaha.

I have something like that in my basement, I think it's a Shark? I haven't tried it out yet, my uncle gave it to us (along with truckloads of other stuff, that's why it's stll in the basement lol) when he moved. He had tons of stuff he didn't want to move and asked us to take it all, we're still sorting through seeing what we can use and what we don't need. Now that I see that's the cleaner you use, I'm gonna have to try it out!

Does steamers work good for cleaning cages? Could you use this for a manzanita stand. I have my cages upstairs and I have been just cleaning it with a brush or scrub with water or poop off because it's such a hassle to bring it outside..

I have a little steamer "mop" that I use on our floors...I think its a Bissel, but I don't remember. It's the coolest thing! Uses water and we add a bit of birdie safe natural cleaner to it. The steam is ready in <30 seconds and it even gets up birdie poop.

Well now I see another item that I need to add to my birdie shopping list :)

Thanks after some research now I'm thinking vapor is the why to go for the whole house plus the birds cages but the price..

I have the shark hand held steamer and it doesnt stay hot, I am disappointed with it

Do you use it on the cages while inside? I always wondered. I drag my cages outside and use a power washer, but it would be good being able to do it safely inside. Does the vapor wets everything if done inside?
