keep a Rosella and, a small Alexandrine in the same cage

Hi everyone, is it advisable or even possible to keep a Rosella together with, say, a small Alexandrine parakeet in the same cage? Thanks in advance!

I don't advise this. I've never owned either species, but I read that Rosellas are known for being territorial and aggressive. On YouTube, Donna at "Love of Pets" (one of the few YouTube creators who I still respect) also mentions their bossiness. Granted, there are things that people say about any species, which are not always true about every bird.

However, it's always risky to combine two species. Some owners say they have no problems, especially if the birds grew up together. I believe that a bird appreciates some time to be alone or with others of the same species. Many people combine Budgies and Cockatiels, both of which I have, but my Cockatiels seem to want a break from the Budgie excitement at times.

I definitely wouldn't do this. Alexandrines are much bigger than rosellas even though yours is small, and there's a huge difference between their beak sizes that could easily result in injury to the rosella. A general rule to ensure safety is "different beak, different cage."

Keeping birds together in a cage when they aren't compatible is a very bad thing to do. It can cause enormous stress if not injury. However, I think the size of the cage also matters. Most cages are much to small for incompatible birds to share. Maybe a small aviary would be okay.
