Dinner was interrupted by the doorman who broke the tragic news of the national archives destruction. Such a terrible event! All the records! All the files! The Yellow Nape Law Offices must be scrambling, thought Kevin.

Back to dinner, there’s some Birdie bread that needs to be polished off.

The tragic news of the national archives destruction had hit the Cape Parrot and Yellow-Nape Law Offices hard. It seems that a senior member of the Yellow-Nape Group was uploading files to the national archives when a coffee cup had spilled, trashing that laptop and clearly extensive damages far beyond it. A quick call to the North American Offices of Yellow-Nape Law brought even greater concern when the Senior Partner at the North America Group was unable to remotely open the onsite server, which would require his doing so onsite.

An hour later, the CP & Y-N, King Air 250 was seen lifting off and heading North to pick-up the Senior Partner when he arrives in Western Europe on Tuesday, a spokes Parrot told this reporter. The spokes Parrot also stated that it is just not known how extensive the damage /loss will be will until the servers at both the national archives and at CP & Y-N are inspected and restarted. The spokes Parrot had no comment when asked if this will effect other systems and government units in the area nor if this was more than a simple accident.

"See here, Rickeybird, we must let the dust settle whilst we evaluate our vulnerabilities and make flexible plans for the future. Entertain yourself with your usual diversions. I shall call upon you!"

The Rickeybird nods and chortles and slinks away into the night, headed for the HotHenz Gentleroosters' Club on the wrong side of the tracks in Greytown.

I never tire of seeing Beautiful Kevin!

He sure is lovely. His feathers are shaping up, still a tad tattered here and there but thankfully no over preening or plucking. I’m not sure but his behavior and appearance speaks of being handled roughly. Feathers on his legs were missing when he came home (naked drumsticks!) but now feathers starting to cover them. He now gives kisses and waves, says hi and bye appropriately (that is crazy) and ventures off his cage to create madness and mayhem. Handling is coming slow but coming, I’m letting him take it slow. He has perched a couple of times on my hand but quickly made his way back home to his cage afterwards. Bless him.
