As suspected, the flamingos stopped to admire the scenery in Paris. Cafe au lait and unlimited beignets hampered timely delivery of the parcel.

Meanwhile, another set of communications were dispatched with the swifts whose service, while expensive, proved to be swift.

So very true, none faster! The combination of assured delivery and with speed! If only they had been a bit more silent as part of the delivery! The trade-off's of life.

A new shipment of Corn that Pops had arrived and it was clear that a demand had developed!

Fear spreads like wild fire! Well of course! Wild Fire should be feared!! But anyway, the ugly monster virus has again shown signs of either remaining or increase in numbers. Green Tower called in the Air Conditioning experts to assure that it will continue keep temperatures comfortable for both the body and the mind! After all there are enough such individuals at Green Tower, that keeping them cool and comfortable is just safer for everyone!

And a Normal Grey Cockatiel named BB who came home with me on 5/20/2016.
Amy,senior partner of "House's R Us" is in a tiff...associates Ralphie and Kiwi are on vacation leaving Amy to mind the store, something has to be done about such scheduling! Amy has just learned that BB had acquired his roomy condo on just his good looks and charm. When he goes to investigate the property he is quickly shoo'd away by the property manager. Seems it has been discovered that perch chewing and entertainment goodies are being distroyed and bringing down the property value, aggrevating the PM!!

Kevin, hearing of the sudden downturn in property values, calls in the property manager, Gizmo the parrotlet. Surveillance records show him bringing in shady operatives from the East Side Towers where corvids and mynas vacation. Apparently, Gizmo had been taking kickbacks from the East Side cooperative to take in their overflow. Thankfully IT had insisted on installing hidden cameras to keep an eye on those keeping an eye on things.

BB, a longtime friend, was sent a letter of apology as cockatiels are preferred condo tenants in Greytown.

No one knows where Gizmo is and who will replace him.

Losing individuals continually to be a concern as even with kickbacks being so common place finding individuals that will in fact complete, or just show-up for work is an issue. The underground was lucky that they had a near endless supply of individuals arriving in the jail system, but even that has slowed of late.

The Eastside Tower complex has gone to having different owners sharing duties.

Today Kevin is enjoying the company of a temporary resident here in Greytown, a rescued African Firefinch chick who is barely fledged. Baby is unharmed but couldn’t be returned to nest. Baby pecking around the hospital cage nicely and fluttering. Should only be a week or so until he/she returned to the wild skies.

Kevin increasingly curious.

Finches aren’t fit for Greytown.

Kevin has learned from prior experiences that such individuals can be used to get information out into the field. But they seem too overly interested in eating. Hmmm, but there should be just enough time to set the message in place.

Kevin will need to kept his staff on their toes to assure that they remember who runs this place! They just so easily become distracted by babies! Hmmm, they are kind of cute.

In keeping his identity secret, unnamed Firefinch was previously in contact with his distant relative Jack Sparrow. Since Amy is still in a tiff about poor vacation scheduling with Ralphie and Kiwi and just because he is just a grumpy old Amazon, for kick's he foreclosed on Mr firefinche's home, leaving him to fend for himself  Jack, being the nice Sparrow that he is,told Mr Finch not to get his feathers ruffled because Greytown is an excellent place to land and rehabilitate in,and the Service Personal and Mayor are top notch! :D

Ah Jack Sparrow, what a faithful guy. Still watching over Greytown from the outside. We all were devastated when a baby swift came into Greytown intensive care but could not be saved. The little finch is flying well in the cage now, freedom just a day or two away.

Kev has a soft spot for the littles.

Soft spot for the littles seem near universal. Even HRH Julio allowed the Canada Geese to walk they young thou his Kingdom migrating to the Northern Pond. The Painted Turtle had clearly tried to pass unseen during the over-night passage, but under-estimated the distance and was seen in the bright early-morning. Julio demanded that his staff move the trespasser, speeding it along on his journey North. The open Southern Boarder is filled with death traps as the East - West road speeds monsters along its path. Death and disfigurement occur, but they just keep coming.

A group of young turkeys rested yesterday afternoon while Julio interrogated them, prior to his shooing them along their way. Seems their information was lacking in any new information; The big dog on the other side of the East West pathway is noisy -- like they are silent? Julio never cared much for Turkey's anyway.

We have been very lucky this year as no babies have ending up in our yard for more that a few hours at the very least.

The starlings have been stopping outside of Julio's open (screened) window and passing long information. However, it is the information that the Cardinal's provide that is the most intently listened to.

Our little finch was released the other day. Just needed a soft place to land for a bit while energy was regained. Africa has so many wonderful species of birds, I really need to get a book and start marking the ones I’ve seen. Along the lake (Tanganyika) it’s spectacular. I love the weaver birds, I never tire of their amazing nests. Can’t save those babies if they fall, though, as nests built over the water where there are crocs, monitors and hippos.

Its a wonder that species have enough babies that get the rules regarding staying at home until flight is assured. That is one heck of a lesson regarding staying in the nest or die!

Yesterday, we had a baby starling on the grass chasing near anything to feed it including my lawn tractor. Mom was tempting the baby with food to come to where she want her baby. Truly tuff love. But shows that even moms will use food as a training tools!

Kevin took a long time to chew the perch on the penthouse perch. Looking out over the Ruzizi River where flocks of birds gather, he wondered if there would be a way to partner with the weavers. Their studio apartments had amazing security and withstood the seasonal rains.

It’s all about the hustle. The phone rings. It’s Gizmo, he’s arranged a meeting with the weaver contact. It looks like a promising venture worth quite a bit in exotic African chop.

Wow, a custom built weaver apartment! Likely with a long list of options for HRH! Some birds have all the luck!

Hmmm, like will come down to Location, Location, Location!

During migration is when we see larger flocks of birds. Mostly it is a few here and there or when a certain combination of plants and bushes provide food of interest.

Thanks for the videos, very interesting and beautiful birds!

The information sources has to be huge. Must be mind bending on choosing who to listen too!

And, as walkers pass by. One has to ask why some people don't get the reality of dogs breed to pull things are likely going to pull their humans! Makes for interesting people watching!
