Lettuce it is!

Nothing like diarrhea after eating fresh produce! When they start going through diarrhea, it's basically liquid poo, not my birds! I have 20 birds right now with 7 of them being finches and keets. It may be wet poo but not diarrhea poo. Have you seen diarrhea poo before with a sick bird?

Yes iceberg is mainly water content so it's mainly a filler.

I don't think Boomer's gotten diarrhea poop and he eats a substantial amount of fresh produce along w/ his dry food. He gets wet poop right after eating something fresh. A wet poop for him would have higher water content and a little solid in the middle. I'd say 70% liquid, 30% solid. If its corn (he tends to eat an inch of corn in the cob) its this clear, syrupy poop with very littlle or no solid, sometimes with air bubbles in it (I read this is normal but I'm researching more about it). He always reverts back to solid poop after so it never alarmed me.

I might start a thread later on to see how much fresh produce people give their birds. Our sun conure loves his fruits and veggies. It is interesting to know how much is too much.

My birds eat their fill, sometimes they eat more sometimes they eat less. Depends on their mood I guess. We always try to put something different in there for them to try. Also depends on what's in season. My birds knows when to stop as they don't eat until they get themselves sick. Anything of the same item, too much is not good regardless of what your feeding. Variety is the key!
