Hi everyone! I have a few questions about linnies.
I have a green linnie and he has some yellow feathers on him does that mean he is split ino?
I also have a female creamino. I want to breed her with a mauve. What would their offspring be?
I heard that mauve color means its automatically split ino. Is this true?
If mauve is split ino what would the babies be?

Thank you very much. Can't wait to hear from you

Do you have photos of the green linnie with yellow feathers?

Creamino is a turquoise ino.
Mauve is a DF dark turquoise

All offspring would be SF turquoise, or cobalts. Males split to ino.

Being mauve does not mean that the male is automatically split ino, but if he is, you could get cobalts and SF dark creaminos of either sex.

If I recall the mutations right.

Here's some genetic calculators.

Hi Monica! His siblings are two lutinos, and two turquoise, he was the youngest and the only green one. Does this mean he is green split Ino? What color can he mate so I can have double dilute, or dilute, greywing or creamino?

I'm unsure how to upload pics

If one parent is a visual ino or split ino, then yes, the green one could be split ino. He could also be split turquoise.

You might try messing around with the genetic calculators to get an idea of what to pair him with. :)
