I am so in love with these guys, I can't wait to watch them grow up.

Not conures but we also got these two little cuties last night, two lineolated parakeets. The one looks like a little koosh ball with legs and the other fell asleep while I was trying to take pics :/ Can you believe these babies are only a day apart in age?!
First the koosh...

Sorry for the long post, I've never raised either of these species so I'm super happy :D I've been texting pics to various family members all day just to show them off lol

OMG they are super cute! I can't wait to see more pictures as they grow :)

Yay, linnies and conures are my favorite:) It is going to be so much fun to watch them grow!

Wow :) you will have to post pics in stages, so we can see them growing!

Lines are soooo cute I love their little cheeks! The crimsons are adorable!

omg I want them .lucky you Do you plan to keep them and by the way how are the baby snakes and howw did the one you unentangled make out. sounds like spring is in full force at your maternity lab. your going to very busy. Alison and sweetie pie:D

OMG.......Where did you get them from? Are you raising them or just fostering and feeding?
They are so oooooooo cute.

Thank you all for the lovely comments. I'm not normally quite this giddy over babies but holy cow are they cute!

We didn't originally intend to keep any of them but I have a feeling we may end up with one of the conures. I'm not sure who's falling in love with them more, me or my other half lol. I would love to get a pair of the crimson bellies in all honesty but the only pair I know of that's available cost as much as my car did so I don't see that happening any time soon lol.

The snakes are doing great! All five of them are alive, out of there eggs(finally!) and healthy. The one has shed already and we are just waiting on the other four to shed so we can give them their first meals. I'll get pics up of the snake babies asap.

We definitely do have quite the maternity ward going at the moment. It's amazing how we went from having one little baby budgie to all of these adorable little guys. I have a few other breeders to thank for that. They have been so much help and so supportive, I really expected to get the cold shoulder from all the other local breeders for being the "new kid on the block" but it's been the complete opposite and I am so thankful for that. Bird people really are a special breed, that's for sure! :D

They are so oooooooo cute.

We got these babies out of nest from another breeder. She's having some health issues that are prohibiting her from being able to hand feed and we've been getting quite a few babies from her. I was unsure at first if it was a good idea or not but it's been such an awesome experience. There's no way I would have had the chance to work with many of these species if it wasn't for her :)

I wish you the best with them. Boy you have your hands full. I can't imagine having to feed that many babies. WOW..........it must be a full time commitment.

I can't wait to see how the linnie puff ball turns out, color wise:) I bet you end up keeping the linnies, they are major charmers!!!

It's become more than a full time commitment if that's possible. Honestly, when I first started I hit about the third straight month of handfeeding and I was just so exhausted from lack of sleep and being on such a rigorous schedule I started to think I had gotten in over my head. I just sat and realized how exhausted I already was and started to think of all the eggs and babies still to come before I'd possibly get a break and it was so taxing. On top of spending countless hours working the website, the facebook, returning emails, phone calls and text messages and arranging visits and interviewing potential families. There really aren't enough hours in a day, all on top of making sure our personal flock members are all happy, cared for and played with. I'm not really sure how it happened but I seemed to have developed a nice groove, time management has definitely become one of my strong suits ;) That and I think I may have just gotten used to the sleep deprivation and am running on sheer baby parrot cuteness :D

But I must say, the next person that says, "oh, so you DON'T have a job", I'm going to smack! While I may not make money off of what I do, it is definitely a job and probably much more demanding than their nine to five. With baby birds there are no vacations, there is no time off, no punching out and there is no such thing as a weekend. Good thing they're so cute :09:

2 Sweet. I love them all . Plz post more pics as they grow I'd love to see them :) . It's been awhile since I have had any babies to hand-feed so I am just living vicariously through others LOL .

Oh my gosh, baby bird legs are so funny without all those feathers!

I will post more pics as they grow up :) I've actually been contemplating getting away from the parrotlets and more into linnies, we shall see how things pan out.

Oh and just found out we are getting 5 baby English budgies tomorrow night! We have babies up to our ears! lol. Could definitely have bigger problems than all these bundles of cuteness, definitely not complaining ;)

I have a new crimson pair (picture of them was Pet of the Day!) and hoping to set them up sometime this year!

Wow that's a LOT OF WORK you are doing there!!!! Most people don't realize! Kudos to you!!!!

OMG , They are so cute! Can't wait to see pics as they grow : )

Wow they are adorable! I really hope you end up keeping at least one of the crimson bellies. They are wonderful birds with tons of personality!
