I just got a call on a lost greenwing that was found in San Antonio Texas in late February.

It's not my bird, but if you're missing a greenwing, I have contact info. This could be YOUR big break...

I'm still waiting for mine. I know what you're going through...

This seems to be my Karma...

I don't get my bird back until I get at least one other bird home.

Last time it was 3 to 1.

I'm hoping 1 to 1 works this time. Call me tonight. Someone calls me on my bird tomorrow. The universe is restored...

Seriously though, this bird was found in late February in the Helotes/Northside area. Greenwing. Let's get this bird home!

Wow, at least someone is finding your flyers...... that's good already!
And if this is going to work like it worked last time, you are right, we have to find home for the one lost in February.......
Gosh, it's like a movie........

I think I. Vaguely remember a cl ad back in Feb about a lost bird but its not there anymore.

Actually this contact was from Facebook.

And everyone at the Laundrymat ALREADY KNEW Maggie was missing from Facebook posts...

Like I say, I've gotten the word out. Now we wait. The bird I was contacted about was found in February. This is April. So two months...

It's been two weeks.

It gives me hope.

And thanks again to all the eyes out there, and everyone who has helped on this. We've had somewhere around 18,000 hits on this post alone! So, the word is spreading, and that's what I think does the most good!

Just for those that have not seen just how many birds are lost / found / stolen Here is one of the data base sites. I try to help this site when ever I can by cross reference and it just gets so over whelming . The people that run 911Parrot are real hero's to lost animals

I called him back.

It was definitely a greenwing they found, not a B&G.

At the time they found him/her Maggie was still sitting safely on my lap, so it could not have been her.

Are they sure about the dates ?

Yes. It couldn't have been Maggie.

The guy was very nice, and was hoping it WAS Maggie.

He didn't keep the bird, he signed the bird over to a rescue.
