Making a strange noise?

The past 2 days Rio has been making a squeaking noise. It isn't really loud but can clearly be heard if you are in the same room. He makes it during the day and for awhile after I cover his cage. Why is he making this noise?

i think its like a polite flock calling, nut makes this quiet squeak to wake us up lol

she sometimes does this in her cage, when i am in room, i just quietly chatback to her

Tori does that too for a little bit after I cover his cage. I only really cover his cage for bed time, so I tell him "go to bed, Tori" and he usually stops after that.

River also does that at bedtime. It sounds so cute and pitiful, kinda like he's pouting about going to bed lol.

Glad I found this - Boudreaux does this and I was concerned there was something wrong. But it does seem like a quiet, pouty "someone play with me please" type sound. LOL Makes perfect sense!

It's normal. Just like everyone else, Jules does it as well lol. Nothing to worry about

My GCC does the same thing in the morning if I sleep in. When I don't wake up though, it's all out flock call. That'll get me up quick!
