In my household...

pellets and nutriberries don't go over very well so....

I make Birdie muffins!

One muffin lasts me about a week for all three birds supplimented with fresh fruits and veggies.

it consists of...

1 1/2 cup of Mixed pellets (Soften with 1 cup of water and then mix in)
1 cup of flour (organic)
1/4 cup of corn meal
1 1/2 cups of various liquified fruits and veggies
1 egg
1/4 cup lactose free milk
1 1/2 cup of millet mixed in.

450* in the oven for as long as it takes.

(I go by feel)

I change up the recipe accordingly... and if said bird has a sweettooth? I add 1/4 a cup organic molasses to the mix... its just enough to give a slight sweet feel to the muffins.

Update- Finished product

Those look really yummy. I think next time i'm going to buy corn meal and organic flower because when i made my bird bread, i got a Jiffy corn muffin mix and embellished it, but i wasn't as comfortable because i think there's added sugar in that mix (i can't remember the ingredient list now but i remember something making me frown a little).
