I was doing some research on new Modine Hot Dawg heaters and a member named Bill from New Hampshire commented on a post about heaters. I had to replace my 30 year old Modine heaters and decided on the Hot Dawg for my new aviaries. They are properly vented to the outside and that is where all fumes would go. I'd like to know if there would be any dangerous air coming out when the blowers are first fired up to heat the buildings. I was hoping he would know.

Hi @nancys, welcome to the forums. I think maybe the member you're referring to is @bill_e, he is from New Hampshire. He is a fairly frequent visitor here so hopefully he will notice this post, and other members may also be familiar with the heater you're referring to and may be able to help you too :)

Thank you! I don't think there is any coating since it's strictly propane and must be vented to the outside, but he has experience with new ones. I don't want to close up the buildings and then turn them on! I imagine I'll go ahead and get them going before I put the greenhouse plastic up just to be sure.
