Moulting

Peanut's in his first moult! So far lost one tail and primary wing feather and several others off back. Seems to be loosing lots of fluffy down feathers on a daily basis. Very cranky but daily baths are helping. Flying fine so far (I refuse to clip his wings).

My question is will he regrow the fluffy down (fluffy and grey) or are they baby feathers?

Yes, he'll regrow those feathers! Those are down feathers and help to insulate their bodies!
