I think only reason anyone remembers my birthday these days (except maybe my mom) is because I remind them. I sort of have a complex about it. My birthday is an New Years Eve, so there are lots of parties, but nobody is thinking about me, and almost nobody gets me presents. Last year I only got a present from my mom. My boyfriend gives me gift year round so I can't complain too much about that though. A ton of people said "Happy birthday" on Facebook, but I think it's only because Facebook sends birthday reminders. /end pity party
