Me too . one of my favorite hobbies:). Nice picture, thanks for sharing:)

Next time take me with you!....I live in Ontario too, not sure where you are, I'm lost without my camera. I'm constantly taking photos, I think I'm close to 5000.

it was a beautiful day today for sure, very nice pics!!!

i dont know where i'd be without my camera D:

i dump my memory card once a week lol i only save probably about 800 photos total from each memory card dump, but i take about triple that a week LOL

i've been waiting for it to warm back up today. i would have brought the fids out, but only the tiels have harnesses and tsuka knocked his flights out a week ago and i dont want to mess with his wings to put the harness on. too bad, they would have loved it outside today.

the weather has been so up and down. i wont bring my monsters out until it hits 65F. and must be sunny at that. today would have been perfect! but, i made do with some bird watching. thought there would be some good migrants out today, but didnt see too many. only the bank swallow, some turkey vultures, and a young cooper's hawk. didnt get photos of the cooper's hawk or vultures, but the bank swallow is up in the second post :)

i need to work on getting the lovebirds a good harness lol

looooooove starlings! they make some very beautiful photos and they are quite photogenic birds lol may be common, but in the right lighting they have some of the most striking colours in the breeding season. and in the winter, their speckled plumage makes them almost sparkle.

these are two photos from last summer of starling's colours

I looked to see if I had any good photos of a starling in breeding plumage, turns out I don't have any starling pics at all lol

But while doing that I found this old pic. I called it the exploding brewers black bird(breeding display), Hope it gives you a laugh

and the brewer's blackbird, LOVE IT! i love how the sheen caught the light in his wings!
