My bird won't eat and keeps trying to throw up

My poor bird has been sick for a few days now and I've been giving him some electrolytes but I don't know what else I can do to help him. He's very weak and limp too but the most he'll do is drink a little bit of water and the electrolytes. How can I get him to eat even if its just a little bit? Any other tips are helpful too

He unfortunately passed a few minutes ago but I haven't taken him to the vet since he declined pretty quickly. I thought that I could give him some extra care to see how he held up before taking him to see one. Thank you though

Please, friends, don't wait to bring your sick birds to an avian vet. By the time a bird appears sick, he's SICK and only an avian vet can save him.

I'm so sorry your baby died. I can see you really loved him. Perhaps he couldn't be saved by a vet but as a group we always emphasize that we are not avian vets and don't pretend to be. Many members don't have access to an avian vet or their bird gets sick after hours and on weekends.
