Yes, yes he will. Have you gotten Zaphira yet? You were supposed to get her today right? Skyler is an incredible bird. I cannot say much about his personality as of right now aside from the fact that he is incredibly curious already. I did try and get him to take a shower today... It failed. He didn't like it too much and actually when I first got him out of the cage using a perch he flew off of it right away. I went and grabbed a towel and wrapped him up so his head was poking out and he seemed to calm down almost immediately. Got him in the shower, and he just stood there. After a couple minutes of me splashing in the water myself, he finally started attempting to get out. So he allowed me to pick him up, I held him low and close to my body and he went back to the cage pretty quickly. lol. I tried to give him a treat for his troubles and he snapped at it. So I let him be. I pretty much just sat by the cage today. Very little interaction aside from talking to him. That and placing foods near him to get him to trust me a little more and then making sure he could see where I was putting it.

Sometimes you have to join them in the shower. Make sure the water is not too hot, it may feel fine to you, but to the bird it's hot. I give ALL my birds a bath today except Max the Cockatiel, he too mean for me to hold him. I got him mean and he's still mean, tried training him with no avail....He would just clamp down on me and won't let go...Then he saw the girls, that was the end of it...Sybil is his girlfriend....My macaw refused to shower today and I had to jump in with him then he was fine. I don't like to bathe them when it's cold out even though we run the heat on constant temp, I still don't like to, today it was very pretty and warm out so everyone gets a nice bath. Try going in with him next time with him on your arm.

yea like mike says i gotshower perch for vincent he wouldnt go near the shower so i had to have few showers with himon the perch, first few times he watched me then after a bit i showered myself then tried him he loves it now
