Here's some pictures of our Bronze Wing Pionus Odin! He's only 1 1/2, so his color is still constantly changing, and talk about moulting! yeah, big ol' feather piles all the time!!

Great picture thanks for sharing

Odin is beautiful and I love the look in his eyes, he looks like a playful but gentle guy. He also looks VERY proud - and he has reason! :D

What a handsome boy. I love bronze wings, but being so used to larger birds, I'd be afraid of one so small.

You are so lucky to have such a handsome bird. Molting is a lengthy process. I save the feathers and give them to an american indian org. that makes jewelery. If you do not already know our birds need extra protein and calories during molting. My vet told me to give Rosie 3 nutraberries a day for calories.

Speaking of Bronze wings, what ever happened to ClaudePi? (another member owned by a BWP) I seem to remember a thread in June or July that they were planning on a trip with the bird and would keep us posted on the whole adventure and then "poof" nothing more....

i did not know this... but i did notice he's been extra active the past few months, playing and exercising a lot more, so i give him extra nuts and treats!! hes a strong boy, and it shows!

Please remind me of this when my girl starts molting, thanks.

Although I must say I've never heard of a nutraberry before - must be American.
