Looking for help. I'm losing 1 every 2-3 weeks. It seems to be the newer birds to my flock as the original 12 or so are fine. It is real grass, and all toys/snacks are bird approved. They will be fine, playing, then I'll find 1 dead at bottom of cage. Suggestions pls.

There could be so many reasons for your loosing the newer ones, but my first thought is the "real grass" and maybe.....there is something there that the new ones can't tolerate. Hoping someone on here can help you out.

I'd be suspicious of the new grass as well and would try taking it out, cleaning the bottom carefully, and seeing if it helps. Plant dirt can harbor bacteria and fungus.

Thank you for responding. I will have to look more into it. I'd like to have a necropsy so I'm not guessing but can't find a single vet in the country in can send 1 too.
